**NOTE: This film is in Bulgarian – please choose your language from the YouTube subtitles menu**

A Balkan country with a rich history and well-preserved traditions, Bulgaria is a welcoming country full of hospitable people and cultural diversity.
Explore aspects of life and culture in Bulgaria through this short film and listen to the messages that Bulgarians sent to the rest of the world. 🇧🇬

Our goal is to create a global mosaic of cultural, human-focused films that capture a real look at life in every country of the world.

Our films also offer local people the chance to share a message with the rest of the world.

Through these films we aim to break down the prejudices and discrimination that are born from a lack of information, or misinformation about people around the world.

We are one species, one planet.

  1. It's so sad people created such amazing travel videos back in 2019, then came the world health tyranny forcing us all to take DNA modification treatment if we want to ever travel again.

  2. Bulgaria seems like such an underrated country as a whole. There are so many fun traditions and I might actually visit there in a few years. It’s definitely going to be an extraordinary experience.

  3. Bulgaria was established in 632 and is oldest country in Europe. Bulgaria is first national state in Europe which adopt Christianity and Bulgarian church became first national independent church in Europe in year 927.

Bulgarians created Bulgarian Civilization with Bulgarian language, Bulgarian alphabet Cyrillic and Orthodox Christianity.

Bulgarians spread Christianity and the Bible, translated into Bulgarian language and written in Cyrillic, among the so-called "Slavs" and incorporated most of the "Slavs" into Bulgarian civilization, including the Russians.

All so-called "Slavic" languages are created on the basis of Bulgarian language. Russian language and so-called "Slavic" languages on the Balkans are dialects of Bulgarian language.

Today about 300 million people in Eurasia including Russia use Bulgarian writing system Cyrillic as the official alphabet.

  5. Another great Discovering Humanity entry. Bulgaria seems to be a very beautiful country, and the people there wonderful.

  6. For many of us who may not have the chance to visit far away places, to feel the energy of how people live their lives, Denéa and Manos bring to us a visual experience we may walk inside of, to see the clean streets, to wish I could go to the markets (!), to hear from people all over the world how we all truly hope and pray for the same things. Thank you for showing us how to see!

  7. The feeling is irreplaceable to see your country through other people's eyes..and could say I am proud how many things we Bulgarians actually give to this world. I am even happier to know that there's is someone who appreciates it!
